Hello!

I have created some subdomains. What happens is that although the URL path should read as:

http://subdomain.domain.com

In my case, it often does NOT work (cant find server error), or it does occasionally when it feels like it. Hmmm.....

The curious thing is that other people do not have this occur on their browsers but it occurs on mine for some reason.

Does someone know why this is? I am on IE 6, MS Windows 2000 Professional ....

The url that appears on and off for me doesnt have anything there (as I write this) but the plain index page (directory page).

Here it is: http://celtic-wisdom.alternative-beauty.com

Would someone check to see if at least the directory appears or if there is a server error? And, if someone knows why I get server errors (on my own pages and never anyone elses) could they explain?

I appreciate the help from whomever. Thank you.

I just see the directory...put an index page in there, girlie! If you are viewing it with anything but IE6 I cannot guarantee that it will work. That's what I'm using.

Sarah!

Thank you for checking! I will get that up eventually! It is a section I am working on hence the subdomain...however, I AM on IE 6- and it curiously appears and disappears on me....

Just one of those weird web experiences I guess as now the url seems to be working fine.....
beats me!

But - thanks again.....

Hi Endora,
Long time no see, on a Win98SE computer running IE 5.5 everything looks good for me when I view the subdomain.

On a computer running WinXP Pro and IE 6.0 everything looks good. That's a large tree BTW.

Hi Endora,

The page comes up fine for me using WinME & IE6. Could it maybe due to your internet connection?? My dialup can be a bit sluggish at times and since your page is heavy with graphics maybe your connection just gives up if its a little sluggish sometimes.

Just a thought...

Victoria, Steven, Eric, - THANK YOU!

Well, the mystery is still a mystery to me because there seems to be no explanation about why I sometimes can't see my own pages but everyone else apparently can! OK!

As long as it isn't a universal problem....(haha!)

Lately- it appears just fine. Eric - thanks for the FYI on dial up...that is true and the page has heavy graphic..

Thanks again everyone.

:)
