i've been with insiderhosting.com for about 12 hours and i already think you guys are awesome.

just one suggestion though. instead of all of this http://yourdomain:somenumber stuff, why can't we put in something that will direct us to it like other hosts do?

examples:
mail.yourdomain.com sends you to the webmail
cp.yourdomain.com sends you to the control panel

all these numbers are getting tough to remember....

That functionality is already there:

www.yourdomain.com/cpanel/ (for CPanel)
www.yourdomain.com/webmail/ for WebMail)

Or you can make sub domain redirects to the pages if you'd think it would make it easier.
