I am looking for a good formmail script that will allow me to send 1 confirmation emails in html back to the user and another back to me with their form information.
Does anyone know of such an animal?

PS: It wouldn't hurt if it saved data in a mysql database either.

Try http://nms-cgi.sourceforge.net/ for their FormMail script (and others as well...

Mlyon, have you used the nms formmail here at IH? No installation problems?

Hmmmm..... Good question, Cherie... :rolleyes
Nope, I only _just_ arrived here at IH from (arrrrrgggghhhh! :angry ) FeaturePrice ... I am only _assuming_ that since it installed and worked fine there it'll install and work fine here at IH, too...
Should have it running tomorrow sometime, so if you're still interested, I'll let you know how it went. But the previous installation was very straight forward and it works just great. Similar to Matt's FormMail script, but much more secure.

Mike -
I've used Matt's FormMail for a long time but was needing something secure for a possible upcoming project.
Definitely let me know how the installation goes. I'll feel better if someone else goes first...

Hey PJ,
I used formmail for a while before upgrading to Bformmail as it's more secure and offers some great features. It should be everything you're looking for and then some. Check it out at http://www.infosheet.com/iScripts.html

OK, Cherie -- it's up and running just fine... :dog
( FormMail from http://nms-cgi.sourceforge.net/ )
Here are the only things to remember, (I think) :dunno ...
1) after upload, don't forget to chmod FormMail.pl to 755
2) If your domain hasn't yet propogated, you'll have to include the 'temporary' domain to the list of @referers
Good Luck!
Mike
