Well, I would like to thank Insider Hosting, and apologize at the same time.

Insider Hosting lended a hand to me. They helped me out. Insider Hosting supported my website, and they helped it grow by allowing it to use their servers.

We had a recent insident, that did cause Insider Hosting to turn a loss. We would like to apologize to them, and I am very mad at the person who caused this damage.

When its said and done, I wanted to personally make an apology to Insider Hosting.

They did not deserve this. Their service, and servers deserve nothing but the best.

The recent fault in the servers was our fault. Insider Hosting could not do anything about it. It was so quick, and damaging, that nobody could put a stop to it quick enough.

I want to apologize to the users also. I realize the damage, and I am very regretful that it had to occur.

Once again, I apologize.

Message directly from the person who caused this problem.

"Chriscool14: Last night, was a crazy night. Everybody was looking for a link, and they were all mad because other people where playing it and they didnt have a link to download. So I said hey! I can upload it for a few and get you guys started downloading!, but I wasnt thinking clearly, I didn't know how far it would be released and how many people would spread that link, and for that, I'am deeply sorry and feel terrible, I hope to god it would get better somehow, but its my fault, so I'm sorry ."

Best Regards,

Well, Josh, I don't know what to say to you. On the one hand, I cannot understand why in the world you would post this on the message board. On the other hand I have to admit I'm really impressed by the fact that you did.

I have over 12 people on a blog site, hosted on the machine that this happened to. For about 7 hours this morning, none of these people could get to their site to even read their blogs, much less post on them. I have a business site, a personal family site and my personal domain on this machine as well. I had to type in emails that the server was down and will be up shortly to my potential graphic clients. I also had to explain over and over again in emails to the people on the blog site.

Thankfully, Steven provided me with information as to what had happened and I just told everyone that it would be up shortly, that it was out of my control.

So, the next time, please, think of others. Maturity shows respect for all, not selfishness.

Sara

Well, sometimes we cannot help the fact that some of our clients are stupid. WebHost Manager is typically only updating the bandwidth amount at midnight....that means ONCE A DAY. What that means is someone could take advantage of ANY of us in less than a 24 hour period and we pay the price.....and hope THEY pay the bandwidth overage charges......but not everyone is honest.

Josh......this sort of thing happened to me and I had to drop a client because of something similar.....but I paid the bandwidth charges.....and so did they. (thankfully)

It's not like all of us personally know who the people who host with us.....and this is a problem from time to time.....

Thankfully we have Insiderhosting who are committed to communicate these situations to us and let us know what is happening.....rather than sitting on their butts ignoring things and not telling us what's going on.....

Thanks to Insiderhosting, and I hope something will be done with this poor default way of updating that WHM is subject to. Hopefully the makers of CPanel and WHM find it in their power to eventually update.
