Here is an email that we sent all clients today:
Dear Clients,
If this is your first time receiving this email, then Welcome to the Insiderhosting.com Client Information List.
You are receiving this email because we strongly believe in always keeping our clients informed about any, and all upcoming changes and new promotions. We first announce these to you, then we release them to the public.
Below, we will discuss the following, as this mailing list email will be short and sweet:
Viper, Lexus Servers:
--------------------------------------------------------------------
Diablo, Viper, Lexus Servers:
As many of you know, the Viper and Lexus and Diablo servers have been having a multitude of problems over this past week. There are only 2 servers that are continually having problems being Viper and Lexus. We deeply apologize for these issues, as we rarely have issues with our servers. We only use top quality datacenters for our clients, but we made a mistake with choosing the Atlanta facility. We assume 100% responsibility for this mistake in judgment, and are prepared to make it up to you in any way possible.
The Atlanta datacenter had numerous power issues this past week, and we have hardware issues with these servers as well. The lexus server recently was totally replaced, the motherboards, power supply, case, nics, etc... except for the hard drives. The lexus server is now working flawlessly. The diablo server never had any issues previously, except for the power issues of this past week, so that server is fine.
The Viper server on the other hand is crashing daily. We have asked the datacenter to replace this server as well, as there is a hardware issue with it. We put in the request 2 days ago, and are waiting for the datacenter to respond. The bottom line is we cannot run a business and neither can you on unreliable servers. As a result, we have made preparations to move all clients from the Atlanta datacenter. Please understand that this decision was not an easy one to make, but given the severity and plethora of problems we have experienced with the Atlanta facility, it is the best decision for us and our clients. This creates a lot of work on our end with the preparation of moving servers, but we will do it with a smile to ensure client happiness. We always have our clients best interest at heart.
We now have secured our own local facility where we will be moving all clients from the Atlanta Datacenter as well as all new clients. This datacenter is in Los Angeles, which is where we are based and they too, only have top quality bandwidth. In addition, we have purchased our own servers, instead of relying on the datacenters we use. The newest server (viper replacement server) is really a monster as it is a dual xeon 2.4 GHZ (with hyperthreading it simulates a 4 processor server, best on the market that money can buy) 2gb ram and two 120gb hard drives. We anticipate that this server will be shipped to us on Wednesday, and by Friday or Saturday, we should have the server setup on our new network. All clients will be receiving an email next week, after we burn in the server(s) to make sure that they are ready to go into production.
We will make the transfer a painless one, as all resellers will need to do is change their nameserver IPs at their registrar. We will move all the content off the problematic servers to our new ones. This move will be relatively easy because we have a plan in place where once the new server(s) are online and ready to be placed in production, we will forward all requests to sites previously on the viper server to the new server. That way your clients site's will immediately be on the new servers and fully functional. There will be no wait for propagation or any lag, as the way we will setup the servers will prevent that.
Once again we deeply apologize for the inconvenience, as your happiness is paramount. We like to run a tight ship with excellent uptime on all of our servers, coupled with top quality support. Unfortunately, we were not able accomplish the uptime part with the servers in the Atlanta facility, but rest assured that once we are in our own Los Angeles Facility, there will be nothing but smooth sailing ahead.

We would also like to remind you to always retain backups of your site(s) files as it is a wonderful precaution to take.
