Sendmail Help

I'm using Turbo Tourney to create a March Madness contest. I'm using Perl scripts created by TT and everything works fine. I'm trying to have the program send a confirmation using Sendmail. I've told the program that Sendmail is located at /usr/sbin/sendmail as it shows in cPanel. I've review both the contest script and the sendmail script, but don't see anything.

Any suggestions with the limited info above?
