Hi folks,

I wasn't sure where to put this question...so feel free to move it if needed :)

As far as design goes, is it better to have all links underlined so folks are sure its a link or is just having links a different color and then become underlined on mouseover a good way to go?

My test site is at http://cpinfo.greenmtn.net

I'm not sure if having it this way, with no underlining until mouseover, is better than having the links underlined before mouseover. Is it clear enough the way it is? Should I make the color for the links darker?

Any comments would be much appreciated :)

Personally, I don't need links to be underlined in order for me to know that they are links. However, I consider myself to be more of an "advanced" used to internet lingo and trends.

As long as they are a different color, most people should be able to determine wether or not they are links or not.

It looks fine to me right now.

Personally, I think what you did is good as it is. I like the links to change colors on mouseover though -- like some lighter or darker shade of the link color...but that's me... :)

Your links are fine, it is obvious it is a navigation bar and I don't use underlines for links anyway.

I would however remove the underline from the title 'Current News and Information'. Anything underlined that is not a link will confuse people.

Personally I would not center the text links, they would look better left aligned, I would also allow more padding between the main text and the navigation bar on the left. But that is just my opinion of course.

Nice site, fast loading and clean looking :)

I like the site as is, as it is clean and easy to navigate. The site loads really fast, but the only thing that I would change would be the Information For prospective..... as that text looks blurry and pixelated. Also, where it says
This site was designed and is maintained by a graduate student at the University at Albany.

I would center that.
