On my hold host, the webalizer was directly in the equivalent of my "public_html" folder... i found it nice and fast...

i suppose i could use .htaccess to pw protect it, but the https server is kind of slow to access things.

harmonic,
Are you aware that we have webalizer as well? Login to your control panel, click on the web/ftp stats, and you will see webalizer, analog and awstats. Also, check the /tmp directory as that is where the stats are housed.

I believe he meant to say, "Is there anyway that you could possibly make webalizer faster because the https protocol is a bit slow?".

Or at least something to that extent.

I find AWStats to be better. Just my opinion.

I have a link in my favs like this:

http://www.mydomain.com:2082/frontend/ihpanel/stats/webalizer.html

one click and you are there.

why are you using https://? just remove the s and your zoomin :)

when i remove the s, it had a 404 error, same with AWStats too..

but also, when i try to access AWStats in my control panel i get:

Error: Couldn't open config file "awstats.vexdev.com.conf" nor "awstats.conf" : No such file or directory

Setup (Config file, web server or permissions) may be wrong.
See AWStats documentation in 'docs' directory for informations on how to setup awstats.

Harmonic, I know why you are getting the error with the awstats logs and I will fix it shortly for you. The other stats should be working if you use the http or https. The reason why we want clients logging in via https is because you are transmitting your password and username for your account, so for security reasons it is a better option. We know that it is slower, but it's more secure.

Hi Tal,

I get that error too! Could you fix mine as well?

CrimsonScythe,
It is because there are a couple of clients who are on our new server and you are two of them!! I won't lie, we overlooked that feature when the server was setup. I will have it fixed momentarily.

Ok, this is fixed on the new server, please give it 24 hours for the stats to update.
