Well I was just wondering a few things. I just recevied a mail from phantasyworks.com telling me that it's soon time to pay the monthly fee.

Thing is... is insiderhosting.com using the same place where you enter the credit card info etc?

Thanks!!

Well I can't honestly answer this but I think once , everyone is transfered into the new billing system you will have to resubmit you payment info.

Reason being as (PWH ) doesnt and didn't use the same billing software. I am kinda in limbo as it is a new billing software and we will be sending emails out on billing also. The main focus now is getting everyone transfered over and making sure things work properly first.

Thanks , Douglas

I was speaking to "Tal" and he told me that later tonight (for me) the billing info stuff will show up.

Also it's nice to see that you are here too =)

Good Job Crew!!

Yes , that sounds right :)

Our main concerns was getting everyone transfered and settled in first , then billing will follow.

Also you should recieve a confirmation from 2checkout once your recurring billing is cancel with (PWH)

There was an email that was sent out about an hour ago that explains everything about billing.

I got an e-mail from you where it said all I have to do is provide the CC info. Will we receive another e-mail with a link, or can you possibly post a link here?

Would be nice to get this issue over with ;)

Yeh... too right. I've just been to check out that they had my account straight (I pay annually) and the billing page they gave wouldn't allow me to login.

I'm not sure what to do. Sit tight and hope nothing goes askew?

I can't really risk that, as downtime would cause a real problem.

Hey Guys and Gals,
As stated in numberous emails, we will be sending you login information shortly. We have to import a lot of client data, and there is no way to do it this quickly. We hope to have it done by this weekend so that you can update your credit card information by March 1, 2003 as that is when Insiderhosting.com will start to charge you unless you paid for 3/6/12 months in advance.

Actually,
I had just set up my account with PWH,
actually I was billed for 12 months the 3rd of Feb I think it was?
And the next day (or was it two days later) the transaction was cancelled.
I expect that I will get to pay for 12 months when you get the account issues over with, eh?

I know that that might seem silly to question,
but who knows, there are scary things lurking in the dark everywhere. ;)

Hang in there guys, once the payment issue is past, you will find that IH is the best out there! :D

I agree totally.

I've just looked and it seems to say Monthly Payment even though I paid for annual only a month or two ago. The balance is actually zero so I left it.

I just hope they take the trouble to tell you if they think you owe them money, rather than just pulling the site. We'll wait and see.

After only being here a week (after the PWH move) I can't imagine IH pulling your site without them talking to you first. I don't think i have been with a web host that has so much communication with its clients. A big thankyou on that one Steve and the gang.

And as Steve has mentioned in posts and email they're sorting out the billing procedure - sit back, relax and enjoy a webhost that works for its clients.

Cheers,

Currently we only accept credit card payments as we have our own merchant account.

received an email today that IH will accept Paypal:

"We are very happy to report that we will start accepting Paypal payments from those of you that used Paypal as your preferred method of payment."

Well... the inevitable has happened. I've just had an email telling me my monthly payment is due. Yeh: except I paid PhantasyHosting ANNUALLY, and it's a fairly new account.

I've just checked and they have changed my billing cycle to MONTHLY.

I've emailed them obviously. Let's hope they can sort themselves out without more hassle for me . Unimpressed.

Well, I had a special offer with Phantasyworks. I only paid $16.77 a month for a webmaster plan -1 Go space / 30Go bandwith- and now i have to pay $27.95

Big increase
:(

I thought that the price would be the same

And now they have just applied the charge against my credit card....

I paid for 12 months in advance just 3 months ago - now I get charged an extra fee for this next month. Hmm.

This is not looking good, but before I really go ballistic, I'll wait for their explanation (and I assume correction - assuming the are going to honor what I signed up for).

I haven't got any email about my billing being due...
But they said right away that billing would change to monthly billing if you had anything else...
But if you log in and check out your account information (at least when I do so, it says my next billing period is Feb next year, actually if we were supposed to get Feb off it should say March next year ;) )....
Anyway, I've had no problems with billing ;)

you should definently contact support about those problems. They have actually gone to pretty decent lengths to make sure they honour up to my contract that I had with PWH. Including giving me (and other PWH customers) things that are not offered in their standard packages because we had it before.

Well, they've emailed me to say they've fixed the problem, so we'll see what happens next. I would guess though that the same may well have happened to others (unlikely they just picked on me, surely).

I recieved a notice from 2checkout.com on Feb. 2 that my account had been charged the normal fee. I then received an email from them stating that the charge had been cancelled......that was on Feb. 9. I got my cc bill last week and the charge is still there.............who do I scream at for this?

Yes I did and explained what had happened and what should be done (like credit my cotton pickin' cc). Hopefully I'll have an answer in a day or two. ;)

Hey guys/gals
The only way to resolve any payment issues you may have is via our helpdesk. You guys are so funny, you are ready to go "ballistic" over something that you haven't contacted us about. So everything we did with the moving your account(s) went out the window. So funny. If you have an error in billing, it is the result of us getting incorrect information from the PWH., Techidentity, or Freestylehosting.

The process is simple, so let me lay it out for you all to see.
Any issues that you have that can only be handled by IH staff need to be dealt with via the helpdesk.
