Yes, been playing CS since beta 3. I am in a "clan" that has been around since August 1999: www.clan-mr.com <-- probably the largest CS clan out there. Being 32 years old, I am considered "old" for the game, but my 10 year old daughter is becoming quite the MP5/Aug student..... *grin*

I only play Battlefield 1942 and CS at home currently......

But at LAN parties, I will play ANY first person shooter people are playing. I do *not* like real time strategy games. Give me instant gratification over strategy ANY day! *grin*

alot have never heard about us, but those who do never want to war.

I war lasted night, we beat this clan 60-0. So yeah, we hope to qualify for CPL next year, it'll be our first year going for it.

Sounds good......I wish you all the best. Our clan is a bit different to many other clans......we are in it for the "fun" aspect of the game and allow anyone to join. We're more akin to a CS family than a "clan"......which is why I feel our clan has survived for over 3 years........I was one of the founding members.....

We participate in CAL, PG and OGL leagues and were #2 for a short time in OGL West Coast Open. Now were are working back up to take the top spot of that as well as just starting the Advanced ladder.

We have some kick ass players, but we are by no means "the best".....and that's because of our clan ideology....

At the risk of sounding unhip, and being laughed at and generally riduculed: what is CS?

They say "woot" in EQ a lot, too. I don't play anymore: full-time job + full-time student + new baby = 0 time/0 dollars.

Best? NAH. I was personally a fan of S&I. I was waiting a lot for HLRally, because Quake Rally just plain owned.

I haven't played Natural Selection yet, but I hear it's cool.
On one last note, Existence owns all HL mods (http://www.existence-mod.com).
