Hi Guys and Gals,
At around 8:00 am PST the ferrari server started acting up. It would be very slow to respond to serving sites, etc... We have found the problem and resolved it. The problem was a setting in the httpd.conf (main apache config file). The problematic line was 1 word, that just goes to show you how intricate a system needs to be.

I noticed that something was amis this morning. I couldn't access my site or the forums or the helpdesk or anything. I thought maybe my employers had discovered that I was spending more time surfing and writing web pages than I was doing any kind of actual work. I'm glad that wasn't the case. Keep that info on the down low, now, don't go telling anyone.
Thanks, Steven, for keeping us informed.

Thanks for the heads up Steven......just wierd how it got "changed" without anyone updating it.....could someone have hacked into it possibly? Things just don't happen on their own usually.....
Aaron: **takes notes** Where was it that you worked?!? :D ;)

lol, no.
Sometimes when new accounts are added and some are deleted the httpd.conf file gets screwed up. This was simply the case. Anytime someone adds a subdomain, creates an account with WHM, the httpd.conf gets updated.

I'm a civil servant, that's all you need to know. It's probably best if you don't ask anymore questions.
