css file in adobe go live

I;m having a problem with the server recognizing the css file that contains background color info and such, it uploads but says its size is 0 kilobytes when the original is just over 4. So my background colors do not display properly. Any help? This is not my web design, more the clients, I just do the grunt work for him

Did you upload the CSS file as a binary?
