So, the issue hit my place of work, now it hits me (actually, it happened once before, but I threw it away).
Has anybody else been spammed by 'Domain Name Registry of America' or 'Liberty Names of America' yet?
These 'companies' are running mass Domain name WHOIS searches, and if a domain is up for renewal within a given time period, THEY SEND YOU A BILL!!!
Note to everyone: If you registered your Domain with Insider Hosting, our Registrar is ENOM, AND NO ONE ELSE.
If you get a bill, throw it away, I don't think Enom sends ANY kind of mailings out.
(Feel free to correct me Steven if I'm misinformed.)

Thats due to the fact, GoDaddy has Domain Registars of America. I've to had serveral bills from them. Which is 2x / 3x as much as my own service.
They should just stop sending them out, save paper. Use if to write sticky notes, or draw lil square people, and all that stuff. Can even be used to make paper airplaines, to fly within the office, with notes written on them.

What do you mean GoDaddy has Domain Registrars of America?
GoDaddy just sends you a notice to make sure your information is up to date so that if you have renewed your credit card or something you have updated your info so it can be billed.
Or do you mean that a company tries to fake that they are GoDaddy?

Well all the domains ive registered are either with GoDaddy.com or Namealerts.com. It only started when i used GoDaddy.com to register my first domain.
Every since i used GoDaddy.com ive gotten letters from Domain Registry of America. Im quite sure it has nothing todo with godaddy.com , i think its ICANN. Since tey have a database with your WHOIS Info.

We get paper bills from these morons too for no reason. Wonder how many people don't know about this scam.

I use GoDaddy and I've never seen a single email, but that might be because I'm not American.
