How many of you would be interested in obtaining a merchant account? Merchant accounts will allow you to have your company's name show up on the credit card statement of your clients as well as saving you money down the road, as your client base grows.
Post here if this is something that you are interested in.
Hi,
We just switched billing companies, from Hostcharge to Revecom, so not right now, but in the future, yes we are interested!

Not to spoil Victoria's party but here is the breakdown we are trying to secure:
Discount Rate: 1.99% - 2.49%*
Transaction Fee: $0.30
AVS (Address Verification): No Charge***
Chargeback Processing Fee: No Charge (for the first five chargebacks per month) $5.00 for each one over the 5 per month limit.
Gateway Access: No Charge
Real-Time Software License: No Charge
Installation Fee: $99.00
Statement Fee: $10
*Rates determined by underwriting factors such as years in business, type of business, processing volume, financial strength, credit report information, etc.
** Waived if no activity
*** AVS is provided at no additional charge above the base transaction fee of $ .18/item.
Wish us luck.

I currently use worldpay, so I wouldn't be interested, but best of luck with this.
ps. Steven, what does ** Waived if no activity apply to?
We are interested in finding out more about this now. It's been a year!
Please email me or IM me about this, thanks S! :)
