Maintenance description: Upgrade Cisco 12000 route processors.
Service impact: Maximum of 10-20 minutes during cut-over and reboot. Should be around 5-10 though if any at all. Chances are we won't even see any issues (better to post it in advance than not though), since we can also be routed through another core router.
Our upstream will be upgrading the Gigabit Route Processors currently installed in one of their core routers. During this installation the router will be taken offline to switch to the new hardware. This will affect traffic transiting through this location for the duration of the upgrade.
