help with cgi

hi. I just hosted by my friend and she is hosted by hostraduis. I got a problem with the cgi bin. I try installing greymatter and mega book. but when i try to view it. it says the link HTTP 403 Forbidden. i never use other cgi bin except the one on free host. so am i suppose to install something first before i could install my cgi files..help..

Any chance your html/htm files in the cgi-bin directory?

If yes pull them out to the cgi-bin directory, cgi-bin directory should only have the cgi or pl files.

That's almost always the problem :)

I know its kinda late, make sure you CHMOD (Change Modifications ) on your .pl , or .cgi scripts. Meaning set your persmissions on owner, group, other to read, write, exexcute.
