Diablo Server

The diablo server is very unstable at this point in time, we are just going to replace the whole server with a brand new one. We will be placing the order on Monday, should have everything by wednesday/thursday tested for moving. Nothing will change and there won't be any downtime with the move. This is the only server that continually is having problems and only recently did it start happening. We greatly apologize for the inconvenience and will be happy to credit any client for these unfortunate issues, but rest assured that once the replacement server is online, these issues with diablo will cease.

I'm keeping good backups myself.

As for crediting.
At the price I'm paying, I'm not going to worry about a couple of dollars.;)

When is the replacement taking place? I am currently not able to trace route to my site. So I am assuming the upgrade is taking place.

There is no replacement taking place. We like to give clients at least 48 hours notification of any server changes. Also, just because you can't traceroute doesn't mean anything, because we can be filtering out icmp packets :) .

I'm Steven, We should be racking the servers tomorrow, and test them throughout the weekend. Most likely, Sunday or Monday the move will take place.

I'm a little confused. Steven mentioned replacing Diablo, Tal says there is no replacement taking place and furthermore complete racks are moved in the datacenter.
Anyone cares to shed some light in this replacement and moving scenario?

Diablo is being replaced now as we speak. We are doing it behind the scenes so it won't interupt any traffic. Also the server moves were physical moves of the servers..
