View Full Version : Birthdate in profile
Why does the birthdate in my profile not reflect my actual birthday even though I have it selected?
My birthday is October 16, 1964 and the board has it on December 31, 1969.

That's so weird. I ran into that exact same thing very recently and it surprised me. Like I don't know when my own birthday is. It wasn't here though, it was somewhere else. Can't remember atm.
When I look at your profile, your birthday is the same as mine. It must be a bug in the board or something!

Why are you looking at my birthday? When I check my profile, it lists my actual b-day 11-17-1968.
Aaron, I pulled up your profile. Yes, my birthday is correct in my profile editing screen as well.
Click on your profile in a thread and you will see what I mean.

Yes, you're quite right. Hmmm, curiouser and curiouser.

Sounds like a bug in vb to me, worth checking out their site maybe to see if it is known, and if it's not, contact the devs and say you have found a mysterious and weird bug.
Maybe one of the mods could do this...or Steven...oh S...where are you? ;)

Steven decided it was about time he got a vacation,
so he'll be gone for a while,
he said that if there were any problems, I was to tell you they won't be fixed for some time.
Anyway, (btw that was a joke, just in case) you should probably report it as a bug or at least check out vb's site to see if it is known.

LOL, we are checking the permissions for clients who have a specific type of usergroup :)

It is a problem in vB. It would be wise to upgrade to 2.3.2, as 2.2.9 fixed this problem on the boards I run.
