Hi all,

I've been looking through some hosting plans for a couple of sites I plan to host and IH seems to be suitable, but I have a few questions first :

1) About the multiple domains...we can have them as separate sites right? (i.e. www.1.com goes to one site and www.2.com goes to another) But I haven't a clue how much bandwith/space to divide between the two. Can I have it set up so that it takes as much as it needs from the total account? (My sites don't use a lot of bandwith or space anyway)

2) The account I'm interested in is Multiple Domains - Personal. It offers 3 domains but I only have plans for 2 at the moment. (I might need another one, but not now). Do I have to register all 3 at the same time or can I register 2 first and think about the 3rd one later?

3) My parents (I'm trying to get this as a birthday present) would like to pay via credit card but :

(a) We live in Malaysia and Paypal doesn't support Malaysia
(b) They don't trust online payment and would rather fax over the credit card information (they do this with everything)

So basically, is it possible to pay via credit card but NOT via PayPal, and if so, what credit cards are supported?

Thank you, I'm a bit of a newbie at hosting. It's more technical than I thought. :P I'd probably think of more questions later, but thanks!

Hi Tiara,

1) Yes, you can have three totally separate domains. You can set up each with as much space and bandwith as you like as long as you don't go over the total allotment for your account.

I'm not sure if you can do what you ask, but you can very easily set up different packages and make any modifications as you go along.

For example, You can set up domain1.com for 20mb of space and 1 gig of bandwith and change it at any time if you notice your using up a lot. Its very easy to make the changes.

2) Once you set up your main domain with your account, you can set up the other domains whenever you wish, i.e. one day later, or one year later....they don't all have to be up and running right away, in fact you don't have to use all three domains that your allotted either.

3) You might want to send Steven an email or see if they are on AIM about payment. I know they accept all major credit cards, but don't know the policies about faxing the credit card information in.
